Campus Card

The campus card is a personal multifunctional card with a photo for entry, access to premises and printouts and more. Everyone who studies or works at the university must have a campus card. In order to be able to order a card, you must have a current registration and activate your user account at Uppsala University.

You order campus cards via a service portal that you log into. When you have placed your order, you will be notified via e-mail when you can pick up your card at the reception on campus. To collect your campus card, you need to be able to show approved ID and have a current course registration.

Sickness Benefit

To be entitled to sickness benefit, you must have a so-called sickness benefit qualifying income (SGI). The sickness benefit is based on your SGI and is determined by Försäkringskassan based on the estimated annual income. How your sickness allowance is calculated depends on how you work or have worked before your studies.

Sick Leave With Study Funds

If you have study funds, you can keep them during the time you are ill and cannot study at all. If you are ill for more than 30 days in a row and your studies suffer, you can get a deduction from your student debt. The point requirement towards CSN can also be reduced by the number of weeks you are on sick leave.
